Team for Tri series on December 30

Even as the second Test between India and Australia gets over in Melbourne on December 30, the Indian selectors will meet in Mumbai on the same day to decide on the changes to be made in the team for the tri series which be played immediately after the third Test at Sydney, which concludes on January 6.

In the tri series, the Indians will be crossing swords with Australia and Pakistan. The matches will be played between January 9 and February 13 with each team facing the other five times in the round robin phase. The top two teams will then contest the best of three finals. Pakistan and Australia will play the first match in the series at Brisbane. This will be followed by the game between India and Pakistan at the same venue the next day.
