Play in six of the seven Test matches in England this coming summer will start at 10.30am, following an agreement between the ECB and Channel 4. The exception is the second Test against New Zealand at Headingley, which is being broadcast by Sky Sports and will start at the old traditional time of 11am.
But the first and third Tests against New Zealand, and all four matches in the West Indies series, will start at 10.30. This agreement follows last season's experiment in which all seven Tests started at 10.45am for the benefit of the television schedulers.
