As a result, both countries' ratings remain unaltered. England have a little more to do if they are to overtake West Indies, as the 1-0 series victory over Pakistan in the Caribbean has lifted Jimmy Adams' team's rating one point further.

Pakistan's successful Asia Cup campaign has propelled them to second position in the One-Day International ratings, level with South Africa. Sri Lanka drop to fifth after successive defeats to Pakistan, while India fall below West Indies after managing a solitary victory over a Bangladesh side who failed to win a match and now find themselves rated alongside Kenya.
