Australia will parade separate home-and-away uniforms from October under a four-year clothing deal with adidas. Cricket Australia confirmed today that the team would change its strip when playing overseas and add the company's three-stripe design, after receiving the ICC's clearance.

The world champions' new clothes will be unveiled during the Super Series matches in Melbourne and Sydney in October, and will replace the FILA brand used since 2001. Cricket Australia's arrangement also covers the World Cup-winning women's team, and the domestic competitions.

James Sutherland, Cricket Australia's chief executive, said Australia's strategy was to achieve on-field success, and the use of clothing designed and tailored for the game's demands would help. The ForMotion concept features specific fabric combinations and sculpted designs to accommodate a full range of movement.
