Loading ...

The UCB intends to progress previously disadvantaged players ("PDP's") to senior levels of representative cricket. Due to the support and co-operation of the UCB affiliates, positive results of this initiative have been forthcoming over the past cricket season.

To further endorse this program, the affiliates will be required to select at least 2 PDP's in all teams representing that province in the Standard Bank Cup, the Supersport Series and for any matches against international teams.

Should any affiliate be in a position where it believes for any of the above matches that it cannot comply with this directive for reasons of unavailability, it shall be required to furnish such reasons to a Committee to be determined by the Executive Committee who will decide whether the affiliate may, in that particular instance, deviate from this directive.

The Committee's decision shall be final and binding on the affiliate.
