Two-day ICC Scheduling Summit to take place in Dubai

A two-day summit to discuss a potential six-year programme of international cricket will be held in the new ICC office premises in Dubai Media City on 25-26 August.

Representatives from all ICC Full Member boards plus an Associate Member representative will meet to discuss a draft proposal that could see the scheduling of international cricket move from a five-year cycle to six years.

This ICC Scheduling Summit is part of the on-going review of the structure of international cricket and follows a recommendation from the ICC Board for the implications of a move to a six-year calendar to be considered.

The summit will be chaired by ICC Chief Executive, Malcolm Speed, and attended by ICC General Manager - Cricket, David Richardson, and ICC Cricket Operations Manager Clive Hitchcock.

The outcomes of this meeting will be reviewed at the ICC Chief Executives' Committee meeting on 28-29 August before passing to the ICC Board which will meet in Sydney in October
