Both teams remain unbeaten after the first two rounds of the Southern Zone Primary/Under-14 Girls' tournament being held at the Polo Grounds, South Hagley Park.

Canterbury Country has dominated in its two matches with convincing victories over Otago Blue and Christchurch Red.

The six teams playing in the competition face their final round robin matches tomorrow with the right to play in the finals determined after these matches.

Shortened scoreboards from day two:

Christchurch Black 118/5 (M Kendall 52) beat Otago Blue 85/3 (E Hughes 30).

Christchurch Red 129 (S Rosanowski 40; N Burns 5-3, K McDonald 3-36) lost to Canterbury Country 174/5 (E Bermingham 42, V Abbott 33 not out; L Rae 2-35).

Otago Gold 198/5 (O Bates 76, K Griffiths 56; H Brehaut 3-28) beat South Canterbury 41 (O Schaik 3-3, C Corbin 2-8, K Griffiths 2-8).
