Umpiring seminars conducted in Samoa & Cook Islands

ICC EAP Regional Umpiring Coordinator (voluntary) Tony Cooper, recently returned from visits to both Samoa and Cook Islands where he conducted Level One Umpiring courses.

Numerous participants were accredited during the visits, with Tony also conducting a number of sessions at local schools.

In Samoa, Tony visited Saleapaga Primary School where he conducted a number of sessions with teachers and students.

While in the Cook Islands, Tony met with the Minister of Sport to discuss the upcoming EAP Cricket Cup in Vanuatu, and attended a media conference to announce the ANZ Bank as sponsor of the Cook Islands national team and launch the teams' preparations for the EAP Cricket Cup.
