Umpiring standards set for upgrade

European Cricket Council umpiring instructor Ken Amos will be visiting Israel in early June to conduct seminars as well as evaluations of local umpires. The standard of local umpiring has improved greatly over the past few seasons, and this visit is sure to have a further positive impact.

Ahead of the visit, introductory seminars will be conducted by Israel's qualified umpiring instructors, Association of Cricket Umpires and Scorers (ACU&S) full members, Sammy Bamnolkar and Eli Yaakov. A series of four seminars have been arranged, with the first two confirmed to be held on the 10th and 17th of May respectively. The seminars will be held in Be'er Sheva.
