Vidarbha face Madhya Pradesh in the Ranji One-day opener

Ranji one dayer between MP and Vidarbha will be played at the Usha Raje Trust Ground, Indore on 21st October 1998. This the 3rd big one-day match to be played on this ground. MP has earlier played against Railways (Ranji one-dayer) and Tamil Nadu (Wills Trophy) at this ground. Both times, the team batting first had won the match. In addition four Ranji Trophy matches (against kerala, Bengal, Mumbai and Railways) have been played at this ground. The first Ranji Match was played in 1996-97. MP cricket association plans to build a stadium at this ground in the near future.

Both the playing XIs will be finalised in the morning. Match starts at 0900 IST.
