Islamabad, Aug 31: Test batsman Mohammad Wasim is recuperating from a knee injury which sidelined him from leading the Pakistan 'A' side in Kenya recently.
Wasim, who injured his knee in a Test in Sri Lanka a couple of months ago, initially received treatment at Lahore before he proceeded to England for further check-ups. The injury left his knee's tissues ruptured badly.
According to Wasim's family, the batsman is due tore turn home mid-September. Wasim has played a couple of club practice matches, it was stated.
It was also stated that Wasim got the extended stay in England permitted from the Pakistan Cricket Board.
