Australia went into day two well on top after Ricky Ponting's big hundred in their total of 431, before West Indies were dismissed for 312, a total aided by an excellent hundred from Shivnarine Chanderpaul.
But it was the way the West Indies ripped through the Australia top order, leaving them reeling at 17-4, that gave them hope and prompted bet365 to slash West Indies from 22/1 to just 13/5. Australia remain favourites but have gone out to 8/15 and the draw is 5/1.
Australia are notoriously good at digging themselves out of trouble but bet365 make it 5/6 that they get as many as 183 or more, which would give them a lead of over 300 - a tough final-day target.
West Indies have lost just eight of the 42 Tests to have been played at Sabina Park, and the raucous atmosphere that you get in Jamaica often lifts the home side and rocks the visitors. Australia are experienced enough not to be intimidated, though.
Since 1955, West Indies have lost just once to Australia in Jamaica, and won the last meeting there by 10 wickets in 1999, but they will need to be at their very best, and hope they catch Australia cold.
