Bet365 make India 8/13 (1.61) favourites but West Indies will fancy their chances at 6/5 after an excellent all-round display last time out.

Captain Brian Lara and Marlon Samuels both hit form with the bat but India are a tough side at the best of times, particularly on home soil, and especially after a defeat.

Having squandered a winning position with a flurry of wickets in their run-chase, expect them to be fully focused on victory as they continue to build towards the World Cup, where they could be one of the few threats to Australia.

Vadodara has staged just six one-day internationals, and four of them have been won by the side batting second.

India captain Rahul Dravid is 7/2 favourite to top-score for his side, just ahead of Sachin Tendulkar and Sourav Ganguly, who are both 4/1. Gautam Gambhir is 5/1 while Yuvraj Singh is 13/2.

For West Indies, in-form Shivnarine Chanderpaul heads the betting at 3/1, with Chris Gayle just behind at 10/3. Lara is 4/1, then there is a gap to Runako Morton, Marlon Samuels and Devon Smith at 6/1.

India deserve favouritism but West Indies appear to be coming good, especially with the bat and if they can put a couple of partnerships together, they could clinch a drawn series.
