Usually, when a side has already won a series, they can't help but ease off but with a 5-0 drubbing the reward, you can bet that Sri Lanka will be going all out to complete the embarrassment for the home side.
Yes, England have a series of injuries to important players, but they ought to have been able to bowl line and length and at least give Sri Lanka a game. They haven't though and now their last chance is at Headingley on Saturday.
England have won 13 of 21 one-day internationals at Headingley but they have only won four of their past 20 overall and one of them was against Ireland.
Kevin Pietersen could return after injury having missed the fourth match, and England will need him if they are to stop the bleeding.
