One of Vanuatu's most popular accommodation venues was today announced as the official accommodation supplier for the EAP Cricket Cup to be held in Port Vila from 23-29 September 2005, which will see teams from Cook Islands, Indonesia, Japan, Samoa, Tonga and Vanuatu compete in the first-ever international cricket event staged in Vanuatu.
The Wild Pig Hotel, a leader in budget accommodation in Vanuatu, will be the official tournament hotel during the event. All teams and officials will be accommodated at the venue as the tournament office operating out of the hotel's internet café.
Mark Stafford, President, Vanuatu Cricket Association (VCA) expressed his delight in having The Wild Pig Hotel as an official partner of the tournament: "VCA are very excited about having The Wild Pig Hotel on board. The Wild Pig Hotel is well respected in Vanuatu, we feel privileged to receive their support. We certainly hope that The Wild Pig Hotel will remain with us in supporting our other activities in the future," said Mr Stafford.
