Chelsea v Barcelona (Weds)
There were plenty of goals when these two teams meet last year (six at Stamford Bridge) and Sporting Index expect more of the same this time around. Both teams have strong back-lines, but both have also been conceding recently.
We haven't seen the "real" Barcelona for a few weeks, with Eto'o absent and Ronaldinho suspended, but these key players will be back and Sporting have priced up the Catalans to edge this one. Although there's been plenty of mudslinging in the press, each team is full of good ball-players so the bookies don't expect to see too many cards being shown.
Rangers v Villareal (Weds)
Unlike the Chelsea match, this game will be a much more physical affair. It's a great time to be playing Villareal, with playmaker Riquelme recovering from injury and not a certainty to feature. He really makes the Villareal team tick, and his recent absence has coincided with a shocking run of form this year.
With Argentina defender Pablo Sorin also a doubt, Rangers will play to their strengths, keeping the ball in the air and taking a physical and aggressive approach to the match. It's essential that Rangers take a lead in to the second leg as Villareal have plenty of European experience, so prepare for a feisty match that could keep the ref reaching in to his pocket.
