The first floodlit international at little Warner Park produced a sheaf of records. West Indies' 338 was their highest total at home, while the third-wicket stand of 258 between Ramdin and Darren Bravo (who both registered their second hundreds, while no one else passed ten) was a record in all one-day internationals, beating the 238 by Hashim Amla and A. B. de Villiers for South Africa against Pakistan at Johannesburg in 2012-13. Ramdin's 169, including 11 sixes, was the highest score by a West Indian at home (previously 152* by Desmond Haynes in 1988-89); Bravo hit eight sixes himself. Both survived early chances: Mushfiqur Rahim fumbled a stumping off Abdur Razzak as Bravo, on ten, wandered down the pitch, then Razzak thoroughly misjudged a high catch at long-on off Mashrafe bin Mortaza when Ramdin had 35. From 2-2, Tamim Iqbal and Mushfiqur added 99 as Bangladesh mustered their best effort of the series, but they were always adrift of the rate.
