Yorkshire's South African tour got off to a good start on Monday with a high-scoring victory over a Northern Presidents XI at Supersport Park, Pretoria.

Matthew Wood retired hurt with a fractured hand and will be out of action for 6-8 weeks. Richard Blakey kept wicket for Yorkshire.

In Tuesday's match Yorkshire's spinners held the whip hand with Dawson and Fisher taking the honours in an easy victory.
