45.2 to B Lee, but this time finds the fielder, holing out to long on, was the necessary? It was mistimed and Broad came in to take a comfortable catch. Having just taken a six was another big heave required? Five singles, 11 off the over would do. After a lovely little innings that was a poor way to go really. 166/7 47.3 to CJ McKay, smashed up in the air, so high up, miles up and well taken by Bresnan at mid off, fine take diving backwards in the the end, McKay tried to go down the ground with a drive but simply went high and nowhere near long enough. 174/8

5.1 to DA Warner, a huge appeal for lbw but the umpire is unmoved. England have asked for a review. The ball was full and straight. Warner should have been playing forward but he wasn't. He hasn't played forward to anything today. He tried to close the face of the bat this time and play towards square, he missed and was struck plumb in front. That ball pitched on leg and middle and was going to hit middle. Plumb.. 6/1 5.2 to PJ Forrest, and he's now the old batsman. That looks plumb. Finn is keeping the ball very full, and this time he moves it back into the right-hander. Forrest prodded from his crease and was smacked flush on the back pad. He has a quick word with Watson, presumably about a review, and then marches right off. That ball was smashing into off and middle.. 6/2 32.2 to MJ Clarke, cleaned him up now though and this is a cracker, a length ball seams back and takes the off and middle stumps. It's another great length, wasn't right up there to drive and Clarke got in a bad position, missed by a long way and his off stump ended up on the floor. 96/5 32.3 to MS Wade, gone first ball again! And what a catch! Craig Kieswetter has flung himself to his right and taken a blinder on the juggle. It is a super delivery, back of length that zipped through and took an inside edge, Kieswetter took off, parried with the first attempted and then grabbed it as he fell to the ground. 96/6

18.3 to SR Watson, bowled him! Watson tried to steer towards third man but the ball was too full and jagged back sharply into the right-hander. He was cramped for room and ended up bottom edging on to middle stump. 57/3 49.3 to DJ Hussey, caught on the boundary and Hussey falls trying to find the rope again, slugging a length ball towards long off, Anderson comes round and claims the comfortable chance. 194/9

9 | 0 | 29 | 1 | 3.22 | 35 | 2 | 0 | 1 | 0 | |
21.4 to GJ Bailey, that is a terrific ball and it's bowled Bailey! Bopara pitched the ball on a good length around middle stump and got it to straighten and leave the right-hander just enough to beat the outside edge of Bailey's forward push and clip the top of off stump. McGrath would have approved of that one. 68/4

16.3 to AN Cook, caught at short cover! Cook leaned forward to drive and hit the good length ball uppishly towards Steve Smith, who took a sharp catch diving forward. 70/1 32.3 to IR Bell, chopped it on. Bell, rather like Wason earlier today, drags a ball onto the stumps as he looked to guide it to third man, maybe just drifted in but it was too close for the stroke probably, Bell didn't go back to make room for the shot and ended up awkwardly cramped and chopped it on. 136/2
