2.3 to Sharjeel Khan, he has not been keen to get forward, too early in his innings perhaps and that becomes his undoing. Thick outside edge flies to second slip! Good length ball goes on with the angle across the left-hander, he helps Prasad by staying stuck on the crease and reaching with his hands. Tame push, nick produced, catch pouched. 4/1 6.4 to Ahmed Shehzad, that's the pressure talking! And some might argue Pakistan have placed it on themselves, to an extent. Drags a good length ball, with no feet, right into the hands of mid-on. Too early to be manufacturing strokes, especially against the bowler who has looked most likely to pick up wickets. 14/2
7 | 2 | 17 | 1 | 2.42 | 33 | 2 | 0 | 1 | 0 | |
7.3 to Mohammad Hafeez, huuuuge appeal for lbw and finally the umpire is persuaded. But the batsman is not. Goes for a review straight away. Pitched on a good length and nibbled in just enough, Hafeez was flicking across the line and misses. It's a marginal call, and the ball tracker says it would have clipped leg stump to it stays with umpires call. Review lost, top order all but silenced. 14/3

2.1 | 0 | 6 | 1 | 2.76 | 7 | 0 | 0 | 0 | 0 | |
32.1 to Mohammad Irfan, not quite! This was flighted on off stump, Irfan went for a slog sweep but the ball swooped under his bat and rattles his stumps. Fawad stands there, stunned at this collapse for a few moments.. 102/10
8 | 1 | 34 | 4 | 4.25 | 30 | 3 | 1 | 2 | 0 | |
18.2 to Umar Akmal, but it's gone into his head! This was quicker, shorter rising almost above his head outside off. Took it on unwisely, gets a top edge and Malinga runs up and to his right from mid-on, tumbles and takes a pretty good catch. 55/5 22.4 to Sohaib Maqsood, that's another beauty from Thisara! Dun in sharply, there's too much bounce for Maqsood, the last time that happened he managed to get himself out of the way. This time he fends and gloves it to the keeper. Terrific take behind the stumps as Sanga dives to his left. 73/6 24.2 to Wahab Riaz, there's another. It's a procession! No more reviews left, and Wahab is not pleased with the outcome, wanted a second opinion but is surprised to see he can't go for it, Dilshan pats him on the back to send him on his way. Its the bounce again, coupled with a little nip away. The batsman chased it with an open face, although we can't conclusively say there was an edge, but the keeper went up, the bowler went up and so did the finger. 77/8 28.2 to Saeed Ajmal, bounced out again! Pretty much a replay of Akmal's wicket, perhaps this was a touch slower but he had to drag the bouncer from outside off stump again, poorly judged pull lands in the hands of midwicket. Dolly of a catch. 88/9
4 | 1 | 8 | 1 | 2.00 | 20 | 1 | 0 | 0 | 0 | |
23.5 to Shahid Afridi, too much intent, of the needless kind. He danced down the track, opened the face to scythe it over point. Made a little too much room to enable the stroke, but worse, there is a sweeper in place, he has to run a little to his right and picks up a reverse cup to send Prasanna on a lap!. 76/7 |

6.6 to WU Tharanga, leans into a cover drive, only he ends up inside edging onto middle stump! Invitingly full, even if that doesn't seem Irfan's natural length, it was wide enough to chase but the batsmen mistimed it. Good way to go to the break for Pakistan. 46/1

9.4 to KC Sangakkara, he's got him! Lovely delivery, lured the batsman on the drive and the outside edge is safely pouched at second slip. Wahab is pumped as he gets the ball to shape away late just enough to fox Sanga. The bat pushed in front of him and away from his body, hitting on the up, and perishes. 59/2

17.5 to DPMD Jayawardene, one run left to win, and Mahela has tapped a doosra to first slip. It went a touch wrong too, a shorter ball outside off and turning further away. He had misread the turn, was originally looking to play it but after he read off the pitch, he thought of pulling away. But wasn't quick enough. Slip does extremely well to grab that. Dilshan has an almost apologetic smile on his face. 100/3
