Douglas Moffat, who played for Middlesex v. MCC and Ground on the Cattle Market ground at Islington in 1864, died on March 29, aged 78. In his time he played much for various leading clubs, including the MCC, Oxford Harlequins and Incogniti. Whilst at Oxford he distinguished himself as a boxer.
