Indian Premier League - 26th match

Chennai Super Kings v Rajasthan Royals

Chennai Super Kings won by 7 wickets (with 0 balls remaining)

Unsurprisingly, hot and humid conditions, 35 degrees celcius and 98% humidity. Rahul Dravid will take first strike, Ajinkya Rahane, the Orange Cap holder in the tournament will be the non-striker and Nuwan Kulasekara has the ball.

Toss: Tails is the call and Dravid wins the toss, Rajasthan will bat first.

Dravid says they need a lot of runs on the board to test the strong Chennai batting. They have gone in with three changes, with Kevon Cooper being back in place of Johan Botha. Stuart Binny and Sreevats Goswami also get a game instead of Pankaj Singh and Dishant Yagnik.

Chennai will go with the same 11.

3.25 pm: The Super Kings have won three of their six games, while the Royals have made it four wins in six. So closely are these two - and the other - sides placed in the table that for now, every result can change the positions dramatically. Of course the above line does not count for the Deccan Chargers yet, but I am sure they will have their days this season as well.

Hello all and welcome to the 26th game of the Indian Premier League this season, Chennai Super Kings take on Rajasthan Royals. Suneer Chowdhary here and I will take you through this game and follow it up with the next game between the Delhi Daredevils and Pune Warriors.

Joy Bajaj is worried about Rajasthan's bowling attack "Amidst all the talk about RR's batting class & Dravid's statement to put a huge score on board, their bowling is looking very bleak today. They have dropped 2 genuine bowlers - Botha & Pankaj and brought in Cooper & Binny. CSK will exploit the gentle medium of Binny. There's no real backup bowler as well."

On the contrary, Cakewalk isn't too worried about Chennai's: " I don't get why CSK supporters can't accept Saha to be a good batsman. Clearly the selectors have picked him over Aniruddha for his batting abilities. Just because he's a keeper doesn't mean he can't get into a team as a proper batsman."

This seems to be a below-par score after they had got to 129/2 in 17. Only 17 runs in the last three overs when you have eight wickets standing is lower than what Dravid would have wanted. One thought that Brad Hodge could have batted earlier in the innings, but he could not come out because Menaria and Shah batted till almost the end of the 19th over.

10 minutes for me to grab a bite.

End of over 20 (4 runs) Rajasthan Royals 146/4
     KMDN Kulasekara    4-0-17-1
BJ Hodge    3* (5b)      DE Bollinger    4-0-31-1
