very true for almost every youngster of India. including me.

ABSOLUTELY AWESOME Satish. There have been so many great articles portraying what Sachin meant to the younger generation and how he has always been a constant and a source of inspiration in our lives. And you have now done the same in just one cartoon - BRILLIANT. Just one small criticism though - the TV in 1989 could have shown Sachin batting with blood on his shirt rather than just an Ind vs Pak caption. Guess you have to cater to the masses so that people understand what it meant...

Guys , the cartoon simply illustrates the effect Sachin has had on this generation. Virat, the toddler cried then and next Virat, the tough nut sheds a tear having to see Sachin go, i can totally relate to this cartoon. I'm a 22 yr old guy, the only 2 times i remember myself crying are Sachin running onto the Wankhede on the night of April 2,2011 and the next is upon reading the tributes to Sachin after his announcement to retire.!! This man can move even stone hearts like mine! HATS OFF !! There can never be a bigger understatement than saying that Indian fans and cricket will miss him!

So simple guys. Virat could do nothing but cry when Sachin played his debut match and now he cried again on his retirement. I wish Sachin retired after playing with Pakistan. That would finish where he started.

Guys what Satish has depicted here is that Virat was still a toddler when Sachin made his debut in 1989 (Virat was born in 1988) and was crying as that is what toddler do.

Now when Sachin is retiring in 2013, Virat is again crying.

Satish, I can't understand your message behind this cartoon.. Do you mean to say that Virat is the next legend to fill Sachin's shoes??.. its too early a call and not the right one to say at the moment..

Very funny....now a legend is retiring and Virat...hope a legend to be in the making.

hahahahaha kohli remains the same.. :) anyways a great moment in history of cricket as a legend is finally going to finish his tenure...
