29.4 to MEK Hussey, He is gone immediately after bring up his 3000th Test run. It kicked up on the middle stump line, Hussey got back to stab it away to the off side but it ran off the inner edge, bounced once before flicking the top of the stumps. He was beginning to look good there but is gone now ... 81/3
31.1 to MJ Clarke, Clarke has been cleaned up by Steyn. What an awesome delivery. It landed slightly short in length on the off stump line and straightened to hit the off. Clarke pushed inside the line and heard the death rattle. Not so awesome on replay. It was a very good delivery indeed but it landed just outside off stump and Clarke thought it would nip back in more than what it did but Steyn had got it straighten a bit.. 81/4
71.3 to MG Johnson, Mitch is gone, going for a six. It was a length delivery and a tad slower as well and Johnson got under the ball more than he wanted and got elevation instead of distance. Prince ran to his left from long-on to hold on to the ball. Nine down.. 209/9
71.6 to BE McGain, 209 all out. Full and straight outside off, McGain is caught at the crease and hangs his bat out and stabs it to third slip.. 209/10
1773822.23885010
67.3 to AB McDonald, Ntini's patience has paid off. McDonald walked across outside off again. Ntini kept it full and even further outside off. McDonald went for the cover drive but edged it into the bucket hands of Kallis at first slip.. 190/7
67.5 to PM Siddle, Ntini takes out Siddle. He straightens a length delivery outside off and Siddle lunges forward to stab it to left of second slip where AB swallows it. Out for a duck. Eight for 190.. 190/8

23.5 to RT Ponting, What a beauty to get rid of the Australian captain. It was a lovely outswinger and Ponting was lured into the big drive but ended up nicking it. It was full and Ponting shaped to drive but it swung away late. Ponting didn't expect it to curve away as he went for the straight drive and didn't cover for the late swing. Superb delivery.. 59/2
1753432.00793000
22.4 to PJ Hughes, Harris says bugger off you fielders, I will do it myself. It was flighted around the off stump, Hughes went for the sweep but failed to connect. It would have hit the stumps all right but was the point of contact outside off? I will confirm after I get hold of a replay. And yes, Hughes was struck outside the off stump. He didn't ask for the review, though. 58/1
50.5 to SM Katich, Kato is gone. The readers have woofed him out I think. What an uncharacteristic shot. It was on a length outside off stump, Katich dragged it from there, attempting a sweep shot but could only top edge it to close on the leg side and Imraan Khan takes his first Test catch. Remember he had dropped Katich at point in Ntini's opening spell.. 152/5
54.4 to BJ Haddin, Trapped in front but Haddin, after checking with the non-striker, has gone for the review. It landed on the middle stump line, skidded through quickly to rap him on the pad in front of middle and leg. That's dead duck. No inside edge and the height looks ok as well. Bucknor got it right. Haddin got his bat almost sideways from the off side, rather than from behind the ball, suggesting he didn't pick the arm-ball. He was looking so good in the last session but has been plucked out early in the last .. 158/6

44.6 to HM Amla, And there is the error in concentration from Amla. Almost inevitable. Full delivery, outside off, angling away and Amla edges the intended off drive to Haddin. South Africa trail by 47 runs. 162/2
113.2 to JP Duminy, he has dragged on to his stumps. short delivery well outside off and Duminy tried to fetch it from there with a pull shot but got a fatal inside edge. 443/5
119.6 to MV Boucher, Caught at second slip. Poor stuff from Boucher. He had just edged one through the cordon and he goes hard at another full delivery slanting across him. Edge and gone! Australia have done well today to take out three wickets.. 467/6
154.3 to PL Harris, steps away again, Johnson keeps it full and outside off, Harris had moved too far and he reaches for the sliced-drive but can only nick it behind.. 651/10
34413323.9115619034
83.1 to AG Prince, appeal for a catch down leg side as Hilfy slips a length delivery down the leg side and Prince attempts to glance it. Bucknor says not out and Australia have asked for a review Prince took the bottom hand off the handle as he had a waft at it, can't see whether there was any deflection. The ball was definitely very very close to the glove. did it touch? Nothing conclusive so far. Even Hot Spot doesn't show any white spot (not that it shows all edges). I don't think the third ump will reverse Bucknor's decision. They are taking too long here. C'mon folks. Bucknor walks towards his spot behind the stumps, waits theatrically as he listens to the third ump on his ear piece and gives it OUT Oh boy that was some wait. Third ump has decided it has gone off the gloves. Prince has to go and he walks away to a thunderous reception. Well well well .. I didn't think we had got enough evidence to overrule the initial decision but here we go.This is what happened: Bucknor apparently told the third umpire that he heard a noise and thought it went off the thigh pad and that's why i gave it not out. Bowden then said he can confirm via replays that it didn't go off the thigh pad and if there was any contact it could only have been glove because you heard a noise and Bucknor agreed. That's how they arrived at that decision.. 322/3
104.3 to JH Kallis, Kallis goes without adding a run today. It was short in length on the middle, straightened and must have stopped on him a bit, Kallis was shaping to short-arm pull it to the on side and ended up checking the shot and edging the ball straight up and Hilfenhaus strolls forward to take a dolly. Kallis stands and has a puzzled look as he peers down the spot where the ball landed.. 415/4
35156711.911758000
17.4 to I Khan, What a sharp effort from Siddle to hold on to the return catch. Khan tried to bottom-hand the length delivery to the on side but ended up scooping it straight down the wicket and Siddle dived low to his right to take a one-handed catch. He had to change directions from his follow through and also go low. Fine effort.. 65/1

27710213.771219400
139.6 to JA Morkel, And a wicket to end the over where AB smoked 4 sixes. It landed on a length around middle and leg and moved towards middle and off, Albie had a lazy waft at it, missed it completely and was cleaned up. Not an attacking shot, just a defensive waft. 591/7
31923.00152000
151.2 to AB de Villiers, AB has holed out to deep midwicket. Short delivery, nothing special, could have disappeared out of the ground but AB pulls it straight to the fielder. What a fine entertaining innings from de Villiers. The crowd loved it and are now showing their appreciation with a generous thunderous applause.. 637/8
151.6 to DW Steyn, Lovely loopy slider from Katich who picks his second wicket. It looped up outside off, good rip on the ball and Steyn drove inside the line and edged it to slip. Questions will be asked why Ponting didn't bring Kato on earlier. Was the bowler reluctant or the captain? Press conference should be interesting later on.. 637/9

20.6 to RT Ponting, No doubt this time as Steyn picks his man with another outswinger. Ponting goes for a big off drive, like he did in the first innings, the ball curves away at the last minute to take the edge. Joy for the hosts. They have got the big fish.. 76/2
68.6 to MEK Hussey, Steyn has again nailed Hussey. It burst up from back of length, on the middle and off stump line, bit like Ambrose or a McGrath delivery, Hussey was caught at the crease, tried to rush back but stabbed a dolly to gully. Four down now and Haddin walks out.. 146/4
88.6 to MJ Clarke, And Australia lose their 6th wicket. It might be the beginning of the end of Australia's resistance. It was full in length, moving away outside off stump, Clarke reached out, bat away from the body, trying to push it through cover point but got a fatal inside edge.. 218/6

13.3 to PJ Hughes, Harris nails Hughes. It was floated full well outside off, doesn't turn in as Hughes thought and he ended up reaching out, bat well away from the body and the ball went on kiss the outside edge and fly to first slip. Perhaps, lured by the drift there.. 57/1
59.2 to SM Katich, Oh boy what a woof! Harris makes the breakthrough again. It was tossed up outside off stump, Katich suddenly decides to go for it and ends up lifting it straight to mid-off ... 138/3
79.2 to BJ Haddin, Harris strikes again and Duminy takes a fine catch, back pedaling at mid-on. Harris, who is operating from over the wicket, lured Haddin down the track, teasing him with the flight before beating him by the dip and the loop and Haddin ended up chipping it over Duminy who back pedalled to take a fine catch behind his head. Australia are wobbling here.. 191/5
115.3 to AB McDonald, forward and defends. The South Africans go up for a bat-pad catch. We have a referral from McDonald. We start the replays, clearly off the pad, but did it catch the gloves? Hot spot seems to show an inside edge onto the pad. And it is out. Bowden confirms the wicket has fallen and the partnership is finally broken. 381/7
115.4 to PM Siddle, And he's gone first ball. Comes forward to defend and we have another bat-pad catch. No doubt this time and Harris is on a hat-trick. Surely Johnson won't be stranded again?. 381/8
121.5 to BW Hilfenhaus, and its all over. Hilfenhaus looks to repeat the shot to mid wicket and nicks the ball to Prince at slip.. 422/10
