46.2 to CR Ervine, and another one goes and this is a huge wicket. It's Ervine who falls eight short of a century. It was a full ball on the leg stump channel and Ervine looked to turn it away to the leg side. But the ball stops on him a bit and he goes through with the flick early as a result. Does not find the middle of the bat and sends it in the air and Powell, running in from long-on, snaffles it at midwicket. 233/7
48.6 to DT Tiripano, goes for a slog and misses, Gabriel hits. It was full and angling in. Tiripano takes an almighty swipe, perhaps needed to make a bit of room to execute it properly. He doesn't do so and makes no contact with the ball which crashes into the leg stump. 255/8
1004724.70367010
43.4 to E Chigumbura, goes for a wild slog and edges it to the wicketkeeper. It was a wide half-volley outside off. Chigumbura's front foot is way outside the line of the ball as he looks to make room and go big over the leg side. But Holder does well to take some pace off the ball and Chigumbura is through with the shot early. He wasn't anywhere near that in any case and gets an outside edge for his troubles and the wicketkeeper snaffles it. 218/5
45.5 to PJ Moor, oh, what a good catch! That was a short of a length ball and Moor was shaping for a pull shot. The ball nips back in late and he doesn't account for it, getting slightly cramped for room as a result. Gets a thick top-edge on the pull and the ball flies behind the stumps past the cordon and stays in the air for a long time. Rovman Powell at backward point runs across a long way and puts in the dive to take an extremely tough catch. 228/6

13.1 to BB Chari, oh what a catch. Sensational stuff from Holder. The best catch I've seen this year. Wow. A full delivery on off and middle, the pressure on Chari was too much. He gets forward and heaves the ball in the air into the leg side. Holder hurtles back after it from short midwicket. Deep square leg is running in as well for the catch. He keeps an eye on both somehow. Keeps running back, and even as square leg is coming close to him, he keeps his eye on the ball and completes a stunning catch with both hands in front of him, diving to the ground as ball makes contact with his hands. Throws the ball up nonchalantly. More skill in these catches than reflex ones, meaning the difficulty level rises multi-fold.. 46/2
38.4 to Sikandar Raza, taken at long-off. Lovely shot but with the fielder there, it was always fraught with risk. Quite full outside off, Raza opens the face and lofts the ball with the full face of the bat. Goes very high, more elevation than distance. Kraigg Brathwaite moves across to his left, eyes on the ball at all times, and takes a good catch near his chest, juggled but job done. Superb knock from Raza. 190/3
49.3 to AG Cremer, full toss from Brathwaite, Cremer gets down to paddle sweep. The surface is slow and there isn't too much pace, so he doesn't get the ball as far as he would have liked. It lobs straight to the fielder at short fine leg. 255/9
49.6 to CB Mpofu, cleaned him up. Full and straight. Mpofu goes for the slog but it is too straight and he makes no contact. The ball crashes into middle stump and spilts it into two. 257/10
1005515.50282010
39.5 to SC Williams, given! Sean Williams misses his sweep and is struck in front of off. Shamsuddin's finger goes up almost as Nurse' appeal began. Williams doesn't bother reviewing because that looked rather plumb. It was full on off, maybe too full to be attempting that shot. Goes under the bat and Zimbabwe lose some momentum. 197/4

44.4 to SD Hope, comes down the track and looks to slog across the line and edges to the keeper. It was a pre-meditated move and the bowler makes the adjustment by firing it on a length and taking it away from him outside off. Hope goes through with his shot early and the ball goes off the splice to the wicketkeeper. He is livid, as he should be, for having given it away. Had the chance to see his team through. 220/3

7.3 to J Charles, that is a lot closer and given by umpire Tiffin. Charles wants the review. An offcutter that pitches outside off, that has come back some way and struck Charles in front of middle and leg. No bat on that. The only question is if it is missing the stumps entirely. Not a terrible review. But He'll have to go because the ball is just about clipping leg stump. A good knock but beaten by the slowness this time. Just missed a flick. 33/1
49.2 to CR Brathwaite, kind of a needless shot with three needed off five. It was a slower ball from Tiripano. Legcutter on a length and Brathwaite tries to swat it with a flat bat. It was a low percentage shot and he skews it to long-on, much to the delight of a large section of the crowd. 255/6

1004414.40311200
11.1 to E Lewis, oh, dear! What has Lewis done here. It was a loosener from Cremer, short and spinning in slightly. Right in the slot for Lewis to dispatch it out of the ground. He sets himself up and gets in position early before nailing a muscular pull. But out of all the vast ares in the leg side field, he picks out deep square leg and sends it straight down his throat as Chibhabha latches on to it just before the boundary. Didn't have to move an inch. 58/2
1005225.20241101
47.1 to KC Brathwaite, and Brathwaite's stubborn resistance comes to an end. He comes down the track and looks to go over long-off. But the ball isn't quite full enough and he does not get to the pitch of it. Lofts it straight down after making room but doesn't get it off the middle and hits it straight down the throat of long-off who snaffles it without discomfort. Everybody at the ground rejoices. Could there be a late twist to this?. 234/4
47.4 to R Powell, oh, bowled him, and more drama ensues. It was a nothing shot, really. He made room and looked to swipe across the line to the leg side but seemed like a lazy shot. Credit to the bowler though for attacking the stumps and bowling a near-yorker. Powell can't make bat meet ball which crashes into the atumps. 242/5
