4.2 to HE van der Dussen, Full toss beats the flick, Rassie's hit on the pad and is given lbw. Review taken. It was a shin-high ball angling away from over the wicket. Batter took a step across and got hit in front of middle and off, it's straightened just a bit to hit middle and off. Three reds, Rassie has to go.. 44/2 12.2 to T Stubbs, Misses the reverse paddle, gets knocked over by the 111kph slower ball. Length ball on leg, came in with the angle. Stubbs shaped early but was caught off-guard by the lack of pace - he couldn't go through with the shot, ended up not making contact and the bails flew. 3.1 to T Bavuma, Skied super high, Inglis goes to the left, settles underneath and takes it! Length ball slightly down leg. Bavuma tried to launch it square, closed the bat face completely and it flew high off the edge. Good catch by Inglis. Bavuma's given South Africa a great start though.. 36/1 13.5 to BC Fortuin, Clothed again, this time Hardie takes it easily at point! Fortuin continued to chance his arm to T20 his way forward, but the shortish ball outside off got big on him. He slashed at it with the cross bat, ended up top edging it right up. Fielder ran to the left and took it well. Abbott gets a pat on the back from Marsh.. 106/6 18.3 to AK Markram, Low full toss is scythed straight to deep cover point. Cheer from the crowd started to go up but died down right as Short took it close to the boundary. Ball was wide, Markram got on one knee and sliced it. Timed it well, placement was off. 5.3 to RR Hendricks, That looked plumb, given right away! Markram and Hendricks have a chat, just one review left. They won't take it. Length ball at 136kph skidded at the stumps, Hendricks tried to clip it. Got hit under the knee roll.. 46/3 5.4 to D Brevis, Edged and taken, Ellis has two in two, Brevis out for a golden duck! That was Test-y.. Fullish ball swings away just a bit, lands around off and shapes away. Brevis tried to punch it through cover on the front foot, tickled it to the right of the keeper, who took a diving catch.. 46/4 17.6 to G Coetzee, Undone by the slower one. Ellis follows up the searing yorker with a full and wide one, Coetzee was way too early on the slash. It was top edged and went right up, Marsh takes a dolly at cover.. 147/7 | ||||||||||
