A collective bowling performance limited New Zealand to 97 and carried England to a 2-1 series win in Lincoln

England 102 for 5 (Knight 26, Tahuhu 3-28) beat New Zealand 97 for 9 (Devine 37, Knight 2-14, Hazell 2-15) by five wickets
Scorecard
A collective bowling performance limited New Zealand to 97 and carried England to a 2-1 series win in Lincoln, making Charlotte Edwards' 200th international game as captain a memorable one.
Having opted to bowl, the visitors had early success, with Heather Knight striking twice in her first two overs to reduce New Zealand to 24 for 2. Rachel Priest, who made 41 in the second T20 in Whagarei, did not last long this time, perishing for 14.
Coming in at No.5, Sophie Devine tried to stabilise briefly, but wickets kept tumbling at the other end. She made 37 off 31 balls before being dismissed in the penultimate over of the innings. Three balls later, Lea Tuhuhu departed, leaving New Zealand in danger of being bowled out. However, New Zealand scraped to 97 for 9 in 20 overs. Knight, Danielle Hazell, Laura Marsh and Karen Gunn picked up two wickets each.
In reply, England lost Edwards cheaply, but they reached 50 in 8.3 overs. Knight combined with Taylor to add 27 before both were dismissed by Tahuhu. England's scoring rate dipped and Sciver and Greenway failed to convert starts, but Katherine Brunt hit a six to wrap up the chase with eight balls to spare.
