32.3 to DM de Silva, And Starc strikes after the rain break! This was back of a length outside off and DDS has a nothing poke at this, catches a massive inside edge and crashes into leg stump. Loose ball, loose shot, wicket.. 178/5
40.5 to CBRLS Kumara, Starc has yorked Kumara. Follows up the bouncer with a yorker and knocks Kumara over. Starc lands it on the blockhole and gets it to tail in sharply. It's just too good for Kumara who jabs his bat down in vain. 204/9

21.4 to P Nissanka, Another short ball, this is a wicket, made possible by a stunning catch from Warner. He tears across to his left from deep square leg, slides forward, and snags it. Dug in short and angling into the body as Cummins tries to cramp the batter for room. Nissanka still gets hold of the hook but does not nail it this time. Finally, some respite for Australia. 125/1
26.2 to MDKJ Perera, through him! This is what he does at his best. He gets just enough nibble even off helpless pitches because he hits the pitch so hard with the seam. Perera sees the ball angling in from around the wicket. It doesn't have room. You can't go back either because it's only juuuuuuust short of a good length. All you can do is try to keep it out, but that becomes a problem when the ball moves in off the seam. It's only a fraction of movement. But that's enough to run through the gap between bat and pad. End of a good innings, took a good ball to get him.. 157/2

43.3 to KIC Asalanka, Maxwell wraps SL up for 209. Tossed up liberally and dips on middle, Asalanka tries to take Maxwell on with a slog-sweep but can only slice it to Labuschagne in the outfield. He can't clear him in the deep. Job well done from Australia. 209/10
814745.87265120
27.6 to BKG Mendis, Warner pulls off another spectacular grab in the outfield. He runs across from deep midwicket, covers plenty of ground, and completes the diving catch. He gets into a side-on position, digs his knee into the ground, but still hangs onto the catch. Zampa drags his length back, tosses it up, and has Mendis splicing a sweep. 165/3
29.1 to S Samarawickrama, another appeal, this time from Zampa. This time umpire Wilson raises his finger. Seems like the slider from Zampa or perhaps it was the natural variation. Yes, replays indicate it's the legbreak that doesn't turn. Beats the inside edge and pings the front pad well below the knee-roll. Is this hitting leg stump? Ball-tracking returns umpire's call on leg stump, enough for umpire Wilson's call to be upheld. Zampa and Cummins have turned it around for Australia. 166/4
37.6 to C Karunaratne, That looks close and the finger goes up! Karunaratne doesn't even review it as he's rapped on the front pad by the googly. He looks to play the forward defence but does not read it. Sri Lanka sliding fast. 196/7
39.2 to M Theekshana, Zampa belts out an appeal for lbw, and umpire Wilson raises his finger. It looks adjacent. Wrong'un, full and zipping in to strike him on the front pad below the knee-roll. Theekshana does not pick it and plays for the legbreak. It would've clattered into leg stump. The tracker returns three reds. Four wickets for Zampa. 199/8

3.1 to DA Warner, Appeal for leg before and after a long deliberation the finger goes up! This didn't look like it was hitting leg on first glance, and Warner goes upstairs immediately. This was a back of a length ball that was angled in towards leg. Warner misses it as he hops on his toes and looks to work it onside. It kept low and struck him in front of leg on the knee roll, but he has to go as replays show it's umpire's call! Sri Lanka have a breakthrough!. 24/1
3.6 to SPD Smith, And Madushanka has another! An absolute beauty! This was full and swinging in and it raps Smith plumb in front of middle and leg, no doubt about this! This is clattering into the middle of middle, they don't even bother reviewing. Double wicket maiden!. 24/2
28.5 to M Labuschagne, Caught at midwicket. Madushanka comes back and removes Labuschagne. Coach Silverwood pumps his fist in the dugout. Dug in short and outside off, Labuschagne loses his balance and pulls it weakly to Karunaratne. Straightforward catch in the infield. 158/4

33.1 to JP Inglis, taken at point after a juggle. Inglis looks to carve a ball that doesn't really come onto him. Lovely work from Wellalage. He made sure there was no pace on it and Inglis was desperate for some. So much so he ends up losing balance, his eagerness to go at the ball making him meet it out in front of his body and the drive he aims over cover ends up much squarer, in Theekshana's hands. Good innings from Inglis though.. 192/5
