Scorecard
Bermuda struggled again in their second innings after offspinner Rodney Trott took a five-for to restrict Uganda's first-innings lead to 28 on a rain-interrupted second day in Hamilton. At the close of play, the hosts were back in front but had lost four crucial wickets.
Interestingly, all 24 batsmen to be dismissed in the game have fallen to catches. Too many loose shots cost Bermuda dearly in their second innings, before captain David Hemp restored some stability. Bermuda's hopes of forcing a win rest on his shoulders.
Uganda, who began the day 20 runs behind with six wickets in hand, had no answer to Trott's offbreaks. He starred with the ball, taking 5 for 39, and was well supported by Kevon Fubler, who finished with 3 for 15.
Davis Arinaitwe's 23 from 64 balls at number eight helped Uganda pass the 100-mark. He was the last man out just after lunch.
Bermuda lost openers Terryn Fray (2) and Fiqre Crockwell (9) early but Steven Outerbridge and Hemp added 39 for the third wicket before Outerbridge succumbed to Frank Nsubuga. Six runs later, Irving Romaine was out for 3 to leave the match on a knife-edge going into day three.
