Selman five-for routs NZ Women

Medium-pacer Shakera Selman's five-for skittled New Zealand Women for 69, setting up an eight-wicket win for West Indies Women

West Indies Women 74 for 2 (Taylor 23*) beat New Zealand Women 69 (Selman 5-15, Mohammed 3-11) by eight wickets
Scorecard
Medium-pacer Shakera Selman's five-for skittled New Zealand Women for 69, setting up an eight-wicket win for West Indies Women. The win catapulted West Indies to the top of the ICC Women's Championship table - they are level with Australia Women on six points - and also gave them an unbeatable 3-0 lead in the four-game series.
New Zealand's innings never took off after they opted to bat as Selman and Tremayne Smartt reduced the side to 38 for 6 by the 15th over. Selman took five of the first six wickets, razing the New Zealand top and middle order on her way to a maiden five-for in ODIs. Maddie Green and wicketkeeper Rachel Priest resisted with a 24-run stand for the seventh wicket but Anisa Mohammed's quick strikes hastened New Zealand's slide before the end of their innings in the 33rd over. Selman gave away just 15 runs in her 10 overs, while Mohammed chipped in with 3 for 11.
West Indies lost two wickets in their chase before Stafanie Taylor and Deandra Dottin took them past the target in the 18th over.
The fourth game of the series will be played on September 19 in St. Kitts.
