full outside off, sliced through point for four! That'll do it, the crowd erupts at the confirmation of victory for the home side - West Indies win by four wickets and will face Australia in the semi-final in Antigua!
ENG Women vs WI Women, 19th Match, Group A at Gros Islet, T20 World Cup, Nov 18 2018 - Ball by Ball Commentary
WI Women won by 4 wickets (with 3 balls remaining)
7.05pm: What a game that was. Time for me to go and wrap it! The second match of the day, between South Africa and Bangladesh, will be underway shortly, and then we'll be back for more next week when the tournament enters the knockout stage. Bye-bye until then!
7pm: A word from the captains, starting with England's Heather Knight: "Great game of cricket, the support has been amazing, great atmosphere. Not the right result but a great day. With the bat, Sophia and Anya fought hard but we lost a few too many, soft dismissals, but a few things to sharpen up before the semis. [Batting issues?] It was quite tricky, the pitch up and down, quite hard to get going. We need one of the top five to bat through. [Catching?] Hard under the lights, more composure, we fight hard but need composure to get over the line. Didn't mind who we played, India have played some good cricket and we're going to have to play well to beat them."
West Indies captain Stafanie Taylor: [Still unbeaten] "Yeah, at this point it's crucial. [Fielding?] When you look at the standard from the other night, you expect that. [Campbelle] She came and played her cameo, she was disappointed not to get us over the line, but she played a crucial part. [Expect to play in front of packed stands growing up?] No, I think the crowd is fantastic, it's electric, I want to tell St Lucia a big thank you for coming out and supporting women's cricket. [Semi v Australia?] It's not going to be easy, they're coming off a loss, but we need to focus on as a team what we need to do."
6.55pm: Well, I told you we could be in for a cracker... No sense that these sides were going through the motions, both having already qualified. West Indies were brilliant in the field, England less so, and that was probably the difference between the sides. Anya Shrubsole was magnificent with the new ball, but in the end a pair of 40s from Deandra Dottin and Shemaine Campbelle were enough to see West Indies home.
Deandra Dottin is named Player of the Match: "My bowling is giving me the most pleasure [at the moment], but I enjoy the batting as well. [Strengths?] Sticking to the basics, line and length. [Slow start with the bat?] After losing quick wickets, we had to bat long for the team and stay positive. Knock it around be smart about it."
In comes Kycia Knight, still West Indies' to lose
skips down, carts the ball over the leg side - taken brilliantly by Wyatt in the deep! She clings on to a difficult chance, running to her right, then sliding just a yard in front of the rope! Campbelle falls, but she's got her side to the brink of victory
Three from five now
beaten going back to cut but the ball squirts away off the keeper's gloves and they absolutely tear back for two!
Can Shrubsole pull this off? Six balls, five required
Well, they get the wicket, but England have chosen the wrong moment for their fielding to fall apart. Just five runs required from the final over
slogged straight up, dropped again... but the direct hit runs out Cooper coming back for a second! Jones, the wicketkeeper made the ground towards midwicket, got the but couldn't hold on, only for Winfield to spare her blushes
fired leg side, into the pads, deflecting away
dropped! Skied into the inky blackness, but Dunkley butchers the chance at mid-off! More drama here, she completely overran it, the ball landing a yard or two behind her as she threw her arms back in despair!
She copped a blow there, arm and maybe back, too. But after a visit from the physio, she's okay to carry on
worked away into the leg side, the throw is fired in from short midwicket... and hits Campbelle on the arm as she stretches for her ground. She's down, looks to be in some discomfort
length outside off, swing and a miss
RRR under a run a ball now
heaves to leg, gets a thick inside edge - four more to fine leg! No luck for Sciver, but West Indies will take them however they come
Nat Sciver on
That brings it right back towards West Indies, 14 from 12 needed now!
dropped! Straight through the hands of long-on, Fran Wilson on as a substitute! Didn't quite get hold of it stepping out to loft down the ground, but it was like a bar of soap to Wilson, squirted through and then bounced in front of the rope!
skips down and launches a big hit over cover, lands it in a gap and they come back for two
flat delivery, Cooper chops it for one and sprints through
pushed through, beats the outside edge playing back
goes for a big swipe across the line, just one this time
smashed through midwicket, Campbelle collars a flat sweep and it beats the boundary rider for four!
Britney Cooper is next out, Campbelle the key for West Indies, with three overs to go
straight through, flicks the off bail! Ecclestone strikes, she's landed that on the spot, just a fraction of turn to slide through the gap between bat and pad and light up the stumps!
short of a length, sits up to be cut for a couple through cover point
angled in flat, hits the pads as she swings to leg
pushed through, McLean bunts towards point
steps out and drives one more down the ground
they take on the arm for a second to deep midwicket, and that should be a run-out... but Jones collects and misses the stumps with an underarm! Not the best throw, Campbelle was in dire straits but manages to survive
Another change, Sophie Ecclestone back
