32.3 to M Raj, Nicked off! Big wicket for Rowe after taking a beating in her initial spell. She's been getting some nice outswing going, reaps rewards of that. Lands it just around the channel outside off, Raj forced to play at that. All she can manage is an outside edge. India crumbling after a solid opening stand.... 187/5 46.6 to J Goswami, that is a brilliant catch by Amelia Kerr at deep square leg! It is taken low, and taken perfectly. Goswami went for the pull to that short of a length ball on middle, and didn't quite ride the bounce, which was a bit too much even for a batter of her height. She got her front leg out of the way, and pulled. Kerr in the deep ran forward rather late, but still managed to grab that low. 264/8 | ||||||||||

36.5 to S Rana, Tame dismissal! On a length around middle and leg, Rana tried to clip it again. Gets a leading edge in front of square on the leg side. Rowe runs back and takes it comfortably. Remember, she had grassed one earlier in the day off Devine's bowling. Rana looked good, couldn't carry on longer. India slide further.. 211/6 | ||||||||||

12.6 to S Meghana, Meghana falls as Mair gets her reward! Short ball again, angling down leg. Meghana looks to pull, had been missing it for a few times. Gets a glove this time and Martin gobbles it up easily. End of a fine knock as well as partnership.. 100/1 22.1 to YH Bhatia, finds fine leg with her pull! New Zealand snaffle two quick wickets. Yastika didn't seem to be entirely in control of that pull, with the short ball from around the wicket on off climbing on to her. She went for the pull, and seemed to have got that from the higher side of the bat. The ball ballooned to fine leg, who didn't have to move to take that on the fence. 147/3 | ||||||||||

19.1 to Shafali Verma, excellent take by Bates at short cover! She has to leap full stretch there. The ball was tossed up, and given some air on a full length just outside off. Shafali cleared her front leg and gave herself room, while also opening the bat face to try and loft, but failed to clear the fielder there. 49.3 to Renuka Singh, taken at mid-off, and India don't last the entire 50 overs! Full ball on off, as she gets her front leg out of the way and slightly opens the bat face to try and loft that over mid-off, which was inside the circle. The fielder just had to take a few steps to her right, and she completed the catch with ease. Mackay gets a wicket with the ball after effecting identical run-outs, as India are restricted to 279. 279/10 | ||||||||||

48.5 to E Bisht, heaved to long-on, and Amelia Kerr is again impressive in the field! She is standing rather deep, and has to run forward and dive to take this one. It was a tossed up ball, and full on middle and off. Bisht went for the swipe across the line, and mistimed that while sending that sailing toward long-on. 277/9 | ||||||||||

0.3 to SFM Devine, Got her! Peach to dismiss Devine! India so missed this in the previous game, with Goswami out. She lands this just fuller of a good length, gets it to nip back in. Devine is caught on the crease in defense. Misses the movement and is hit low on the knee roll of the back pad. The Indians rejoice. Just the start they would have liked.. 2/1 2.3 to SW Bates, Castled! Goswami ages like fine wine. Superb delivery to get rid of Devine's 'Smash Sister', Bates. Similar delivery actually. Just further of a good length, inviting the drive. Bates goes for it but the ball moves in ever so slightly to beat the bat and disturb the woodwork. New Zealand lose the big two at the top.. 14/2 23.4 to AE Satterthwaite, taken by Mithali at mid-on, and Goswami's golden arm gets the third! Mithali tumbled on her back after completing the catch, but who cares as long as she has got it? Full ball on middle, and it was right in the slot too. That enticed Satthertwaite to go for the lofted shot, which she could only get to as far as Mithali's right. So Goswami gets her third, as her captain's decision to bring her back pays. 117/3 | ||||||||||

The ball was tossed up, and was a little wide of off for the batter's liking to swipe at that across the line. But Kerr still went after that, having to fetch that away from her reach. The ball flew off her bat, and landed right into the hands of the fielder.
