Poor ball gets a wicket, not for the first time today.. 122/5 17.2 to GSNFG Jayasuriya, another slower ball lands full on middle, tries to heave this over midwicket but splices this high toward long-on, Samiullah Shinwari is there to pouch it with hands in front of his face and palms facing out, two yards in from the rope.. 148/6 | ||||||||||

7.2 to PBB Rajapaksa, full on middle, batsman backs away from the stumps to create room trying to drive past extra cover, doesn't get the elevation though and drills this straight to the man inside the ring at head height. Sharp catch taken shuffling two steps left.. 83/2 7.3 to Azam Khan, flights this on off and spins in sharply, Azam misses a flick across the line with little footwork. Huge lbw appeal denied. On first glance this may have been spinning too much down leg. Definitely hit in front. They go for the review! And replays show it was clipping the top of leg with three reds lit up. 9.3 to MD Gunathilaka, short and wide, half-tracker at 123 kph, they've served up a lot of these today for boundaries but Gunathilaka's timing is slightly off from the changes of pace offered by Shanaka and he gets a thin edge through to the keeper.. 90/4 18.5 to Mohammad Amir, knee high full toss on leg stump, Amir backs away to create room to slap through cover and swings straight through this. Is there a hole in his bat? Perhaps too much to expect from a tailender to hit that for a boundary but 9/10 batsman would've heaved that for six. Another bad ball wicket for Dambulla today as the ball slams into leg stump 3/4 of the way up without pitching.. 156/7 | ||||||||||

Fullish length ball with plenty of swing, Stirling has been vulnerable to this ball throughout his career from left-armers, from memory Zaheer Khan got him on an identical ball in the 2011 World Cup. The deflection looked like it was pad and pad and the batsman didn't review immediately to indicate any inside edge. He was hit on the front pad first though indicating the angle and height might be touch and go. Was hit just below the knee roll. Looked stone dead live so not sure why the keeper was so preoccupied chasing after the ball after the carom off the shin to short cover. The batsman reviews in desperation. 10.2 to N Dickwella, fullish length ball on the stumps, tried to drive for mid-on but miscues this off the inside edge and it flutters toward Sandakan on the ring at square leg, takes a simple catch crouching at thigh height.. 76/3 14.3 to MD Shanaka, slower ball lands on a good length outside off, tries to muscle this over mid-off but instead a thick top edge swirls over backward point, wasn't in the air for long but the point fielder charges backward with his head tilted behind and chases to claim a sensational over the shoulder catch. I'll give that 9.5 out of 10 as the USA judge on the panel.. 104/5 | ||||||||||
