18.1 to NP Kenjige, big shout but the umpire is unmoved! Sharp back of a length delivery on leg stump. Kenjige backs away and tries to dab it fine. The ball is just too quick, though, and he seems to feather it through to the keeper. Well, according to the LA Knight Riders at least. Once the umpire gives it not out, LAKR review immediately. And they are vindicated. It has come off the glove and MI New York pay the price for taking the single off the last ball of the previous over!. 120/8 | ||||||||||

3.1 to Shayan Jahangir, cleans him up! Middle stump has been flattened! Full delivery that starts on off stump and nips back just a shade. Jahangir has a massive waft at it but does not move his feet at all. Does not get to the pitch of the ball and leaves a massive gap between bat and pad - a gap the ball exploits to leave his middle stump in tatters!. 27/2 15.2 to N Pooran, holes out to deep mid wicket! Length delivery just outside off that seems to hold in the surface a tad. Pooran crouches down low and tries to shovel it over deep mid wicket. Does not quite time it as well as he would have liked, though, and ends up hitting it straight to Nitish on the fence!. 95/6 | ||||||||||

2.2 to D Brevis, huge appeal, and that looks very adjacent! Length delivery slanted into middle and off stump. Brevis shuffles across a touch but is largely caught on the crease. Plays all over a relatively straight delivery and is rapped right in front of middle and off, with the ball hitting the knee roll of the front pad. Dry goes up in appeal and the umpire upholds it. Brevis has a chat with his partner but decides against the review, rightly so!. 25/1 4.3 to MD Patel, soft dismissal! Banged into the track outside off stump. Patel advances and tries to forehand it Carlos Alcaraz style over mid off. It is a little too ambitious, though, and he gets it right off the toe end. Narine settles under it at mid off and does the rest! Not the greatest stroke Patel will play in his life and MINY are now three down, inside the powerplay!. 37/3 | ||||||||||

8.4 to Hammad Azam, given this time! Full, fast and very straight. Hammad, feeling the pinch of the scoring rate, has a hack across the line but misses the ball completely. Seems to be beaten for pace too as the ball pins him on the front pad. Zampa appeals and the umpire nods his head in approval. That looked pretty plumb and Hammad, rightly, does not review!. 54/4 12.1 to KA Pollard, Zampa castles Pollard! Back of a length delivery on middle and off stump that keeps very low and also skids through. Pollard gives himself a bit of room to cut it away but because the ball does not bounce at all, he cannot get any bat on it. Crashes into the stumps and Pollard trudges off, with MINY now tottering at 77-5!. 77/5 | ||||||||||

Does not make contact and gets pinned on the back leg. The umpire has a think about it before raising his finger. Guptill goes upstairs but to no avail. No bat involved and the impact is Umpire's Call with the ball then going on to hit the stumps!. 0/1 6.5 to JS Malhotra, very soft dismissal! Length delivery angled into middle and leg stump. This one seems to just stop in the surface a little and that gets the better of Malhotra. He tries to work it into the on side but because of the lack of pace, ends up getting a leading edge that loops up to short mid wicket! 13.4 to Ali Khan, knocks him over, Boult has his first! Slower delivery angled into middle and leg stump. Ali Khan does not pick the knuckle-ball and swings a week early. The ball goes past the bat and then thuds into the top of leg stump! MI New York just one wicket away from a win now!. 50/9 13.5 to LH Ferguson, that will be that! MI New York win by 105 runs! Back of a length delivery on middle and leg stump that rushes onto Ferguson. He has a yahoo across the line because, well, why not. The ball pings off the splice and Pollard calls early from short mid wicket to consign LAKR to their second successive defeat!. 50/10 | ||||||||||

2.2 to RR Rossouw, the big shot comes and Rossouw perishes! Back of a length delivery just outside off that might have stuck in the surface a touch. Rossouw, feeling the pressure of the dot balls, has an almighty slog across the line. Slices it terribly and the ball goes miles up into the air. Kenjige settles under the swirling ball at cover point and does the rest!. 2/2 2.5 to NR Kumar, edged and taken at slip! Rabada has two in the over! Back of a length delivery outside off that nips away ever so slightly. Nitish goes wafting at it without any foot movement and gets a thick outside edge that is gobbled up by Jahangir at wide slip!. 2/3 | ||||||||||

10.4 to CA Dry, given lbw but Dry has reviewed this straightaway! Full and slanted into middle and leg stump. Dry is caught on the crease and seems to miss his flick. The ball pings into his pads and the umpire, after deliberation, raises his finger. If Dry has not hit this, it could be curtains. Nothing on Snicko and three reds on Ball Tracking - in fact, that was crashing into the inside of leg stump. Dry has to make the long walk back! . 40/7 10.6 to SP Narine, straight down deep backward square leg's throat, can you believe it?! Half-tracker on leg stump and it ought to have been dumped onto the road. Narine, in his defence, absolutely laces his pull but picks out the sweeper on the fence to absolute perfection!. 41/8 | ||||||||||

9.1 to UBT Chand, holes out to deep backward square leg! Slower delivery dug into the track outside off stump. Chand tries to heave it away but the lack of pace means that he ends up dragging it behind square. Boult settles himself under the high ball and completes the catch, a yard inside the fence. Pollard lets out a celebratory cry as LAKR sink further into trouble!. 37/5 9.4 to AD Russell, is there a nick? Slower bumper on off stump. Russell has a massive swipe across the line and seems to miss. But again, Pooran and Pollard think there is bat involved and they go upstairs. Russell has a smile on his face as MINY go upstairs. The ball is close to the toe-end of the bat and there is a slight spike. It seems a little delayed but the third umpire reckons that it has come off the bat, and asks the umpire to overturn his decision. MINY finally get a review right, and they are over the moon! A slightly dodgy Pollard celebration follows but there is no denying which team is calling the shots now! . 39/6 | ||||||||||
