Warwickshire win by 19 runs and that's a brilliant scalp for them with a weakened team. They squeezed out of their group and are now at Finals Day. The win was set up by the stand between Chopra, who picked up an injury, and Clarke which gave the attack runs to play with. Jeetan Patel was outstanding and Rankin took crucial wickets. Essex's long batting order gave it a good crack, but they lost wickets at vital times - with Bopara's being especially important. So it means that Warwickshire, Lancashire and Surrey are confirmed in Finals Day and we'll find out the final side tomorrow when Nottinghamshire play Hampshire. Alex will have coverage of that tomorrow afternoon from 2pm but for now, from Gnasher, it's goodbye.

1
Hannon-Dalby to Ryan ten Doeschate, 1 run

swung down to long-on and that's the game

19.5
6
Hannon-Dalby to Ryan ten Doeschate, SIX runs

picked up over the leg side and clears deep midwicket...meaningless now for Essex

19.4
1
Hannon-Dalby to Phillips, 1 run

driven out to deep cover

This will be a fantastic victory for Warwickshire who were very much the underdogs

19.3
Hannon-Dalby to Phillips, no run

swing and a miss outside off stump

19.2
1
Hannon-Dalby to Ryan ten Doeschate, 1 run

superb delivery, a yorker at middle and leg, flicked to deep square and ten Doeschate forlornly runs through for a single

19.1
Hannon-Dalby to Ryan ten Doeschate, no run

heaved into the leg side and he doesn't run

So it's 29 needed off the last over. Hannon-Dalby to bowl ahead of Clarke

2
Gordon to Phillips, 2 runs

full outside off, crunched through the covers but the sweeper can get around and keep them to a couple...16 off the over, but that is okay for Warwickshire especially after those first two balls and the dropped catch

A few deep breaths for Gordon at the end of his run...

18.5
1lb
Gordon to Ryan ten Doeschate, 1 leg bye

he's through the shot too early, takes the pad towards short third man

18.4
Gordon to Ryan ten Doeschate, no run

swing and a miss at a length delivery, maybe a slower ball. Yes, he just held that back. A ballsy thing to do.

Porterfield has a quick word with Gordon

18.4
1w
Gordon to Ryan ten Doeschate, 1 wide

pushed down the leg side, they appeal for something but it's called wide! Some unhappy Warwickshire players out there

18.3
2
Gordon to Ryan ten Doeschate, 2 runs

dropped!, this time Laurie Evans at long-off. He's been bantering with the crowd all evening. He should have taken this. Lofted almost straight to him

Ten Doeschate keeping Essex alive. Captain's innings. What pressure on Gordon.

18.2
4
Gordon to Ryan ten Doeschate, FOUR runs

straight this time! Gordon got it full but ten Doeschate responds with a rifled straight drive which splits long-off and long-on. A 30-ball fifty

18.1
6
Gordon to Ryan ten Doeschate, SIX runs

dragged down short! A fierce pull and it skims over the deep square-leg fence. Sends the crowd ducking for cover.

Gordon to bowl. Now or never for Essex. He aborts his first delivery. Nerves?

Hannon-Dalby to Phillips, no run

oh, terrific ball to finish the over, a yorker homing in at off stump and all Phillips can do is keep it out. Valuable dot ball.

17.5
1
Hannon-Dalby to Ryan ten Doeschate, 1 run

good delivery, full again outside off, comes off the bottom of the bat into the covers

17.4
1
Hannon-Dalby to Phillips, 1 run

low full toss outside off, struck straight to point

17.3
1
Hannon-Dalby to Ryan ten Doeschate, 1 run

driven firmly to cover and he would have been struggling with a direct hit. Well short.

17.2
4
Hannon-Dalby to Ryan ten Doeschate, FOUR runs

same area, same value for the shot...skews off a think outside edge over short third man. What frustration for the bowler

17.1
4
Hannon-Dalby to Ryan ten Doeschate, FOUR runs

think edge...full outside off, he was swinging with abandon and it flew fine of short third man

Three overs left, 56 needed. Tough ask. Hannon-Dalby back.

Fantastic spell from Jeetan Patel

16.6
2
Patel to Phillips, 2 runs

nearly a return catch! Phillips early on his shot and it just evades Patel's left hand in the follow through. Ten Doeschate has to get the dive out to make the second run as the ball runs to long-on
