12.5 to PI Walter, Gone! Walter loses the plot, he was looking dangerous but tries to seize on the shortish ball at middle, finds deep midwicket! Yasir takes a comfortable catch moving to his left. He was timing the ball sweetly but Multan have got a timely breakthrough, still some firepower left in the batting line-up. 114/4 16.4 to R Powell, Perishes straightaway after clubbing a six, pitched up outside off, couldn't get underneath it, got the toe-end part of the bat and Iftikhar settles under the skier, pouches it comfortably at long-on and the entire Multan camp erupts in joy. 150/6 | ||||||||||

Once again, failed to capitalize on a good start. Bangs it on a shorter length at middle, he lifts his front leg and tugs it away but hasn't got the elevation and nor the distance. Short of a length, angled in and straightening down the line outside off, tries to club him over midwicket and gets a faint tickle to Mohammad Haris who pressed the case forward for a review and he was spot-on, clear deflection on the ultra-edge but once again a terrific cameo from Iftikhar Ahmed. 174/9 19.6 to Shahnawaz Dahani, Pinged the top of leg and Peshawar win by 5 runs! Phew, that was a heart-in-mouth affair but Peshawar held their nerve in the end and edge out Multan in their fortress. 14.3 to DJ Malan, Short of a length at off, tries to bludgeon it downtown and mistimes it to Mousley (sub) at long-on who took a sharp catch while charging in from the deep. 16.2 to Khushdil Shah, gets down low and takes the aerial route, Yaqoob gets his first wicket on debut, bowled superbly tonight. Khushdil goes for slog sweep and didn't get the requisite power, timing and distance. Peshawar cluster together in joy!. 132/5 16.5 to Usama Mir, Goes again but could't clear the man at deep midwicket, oh, Usama, what have you done? Gave hope to Multan and then threw it away. Once again goes big using brute force in his wrists but didn't get enough distance, Walter perched close to the boundary rope pouches it comfortably.. 144/6 16.6 to DJ Willey, Bowls a full-toss outside off, Willey won't die wondering, smears him for a might-long hit and it soared high into the air, up and up, but then gravity pulls it down and fielder (Mousley) in the deep makes a brilliant attempt for a catch, leapt in the air to catch the ball and then threw it in the air, came back inside the rope to complete the catch. It's a tough one for the third umpire who asked for the zoom-in angle. The confusion is whether the foot is in the air when he pouches it, looks like his toe touched the ground when he caught the ball. Not sure why umpire is giving the benefit of the doubt to fielding side? That is not a good enough reason.. 144/7 | ||||||||||

8.2 to Yasir Khan, Good length, snaked it in at a teasing off stump line, tries to whack it across the line and gets beaten by the pace, shot wasn't on, Yasir knows he has nicked it and has started his long walk back to the pavilion, not waiting for the third umpire's decision, Haris took a sharp low catch, he has been excellent with the glovework. Yasir admonishes himself for the poor selection of shot. 52/2 15.5 to RR Hendricks, Demolishes him with a perfect yorker!
