Scorecard
Pakistan Under-19s maintained their winning ways on their tour of Zimbabwe, cruising to a six-wicket victory in the second Twenty20 at St George's College Ground.
The home side batted first, and every time they built some momentum, they were pegged back by left-arm spinner Raza Hasan. He was the most effective bowler of the match, finishing with figures of 3 for 19 off his four overs. Three Zimbabwe batsmen - Mazvita Zambuko, Andrew Lindsay and Nathan Waller - motored past 30, but Hasan dismissed each of them before they reached 40. Zimbabwe lost their final three wickets for two runs to be bowled out in the 19th over for a competitive 158.
Pakistan's openers, though, played contrasting knocks to ensure Pakistan were never in trouble during the chase. Hammad Azam clobbered 35 off 14 balls to give Pakistan a high-octane start. After Azam was dismissed, with the score on 40, his opening partner, Faraz Ali, steered the chase. Ali remained unbeaten on 75, with the help of eight fours, to take Pakistan to the target with eight balls to spare.
