South Africa Women 160 for 4 (Brits 57) beat Pakistan Women 156 by six wickets
Scorecard and ball-by-ball details
South Africa romped to an expected third win in three to take the five-match one-day series against Pakistan in style. They needed just 35.5 overs to race to their target of 157 to win by six wickets.
Pakistan batted first for the first time, and started steadily enough, with 36 on the board after 12 overs. But when the opening stand was broken on 40, they continued to lose wickets at regular intervals and were eventually dismissed for 159.
Cri-Zelda Brits continues to flourish in her role as fill-in South Africa captain, striking 57 to put them firmly on course for their target after the openers put on 60. When she fell, they needed just another 49 runs and did the job easily for the loss of no further wickets. Brits now has 150 runs in three matches, with an average of 75.
The next match, a dead rubber, takes place on Friday at the same venue, Sinovich Park in Sinoville, Pretoria.
