11.13pm What a chase, wasn't it? Sometimes you just need to stop and admire a cricketing performance, and Ronchi's show tonight was testament to that. We've now identified our first finalist in the shape of Islamabad. Who will join them? That search still continues across the next two eliminators. Join us on Tuesday, then, for the first eliminator between Quetta and Peshawar. Till then, on behalf of Shashank Kishore, this is Sreshth Shah signing off. Bye bye!

11.00pm Time for the presentation. And here's Ramiz Raja, the presenter. No surprise, Luke Ronchi is the Man of the Match. He says: "One of those days when things click. I felt comfortable with what I was doing. Couple of dropped catches, everything went in my favour. The rest coming ahead will be good for us before the final. Just saw the ball really well, figured out a plan, was in the zone tonight. When you play the way I play, need luck sometimes."

Losing captain Eoin Morgan: "When you run into a guy with Ronchi's form, then he's very hard to stop. Tough for us, we weren't on the mark. We let him get in, and once he's in, he's hard to stop. We were 10-15 short with the bat and didn't start well with the ball. It's great to watch Ronchi bat that well, but terrible if you're facing him. Not sure why the catches went down. It wasn't too dewy either. We will figure things out."

Winning captain JP Duminy: "I didn't think it was going to be this easy a run chase. Sami set the tone with the ball, and it was one of those clinical performances. Dean Jones will be pretty happy with that. Ronchi's innings was the top 3 innings I've ever seen. He's a free-spirited guy who backs his game. When days like these come, you take it with both hands. Sami's unbelievable, isn't he? He's still fit to play international cricket. From a leadership point of view, it's a privilege for me to lead these boys. Looking forward to the final in Karachi."

Mohtashim: "Now i know what carnage looks like!!!"

10.54pm Sahibzada Farhan: When Ronchi plays like that, it gives me the added confidence. I thought I'll take over if he gets out, but he wasn't getting out today, so I decided to join the party. Today I played my natural game. We hope to keep this form going. We're excited to play in Pakistan, in Karachi. Our coaches work hard with us in the back, so I want to dedicate this innings to Vicky bhai (Waqar Younis)"

Irtaza: "How often in a cricket game do you see the batsman being disappointed that the ball went to the boundary ?"

10.50pm Islamabad United are through to the PSL final. What a masterclass from Luke Ronchi tonight. It's also the largest win - in terms of balls - in PSL history. He may have missed out on the 100, but I really doubt Ronchi cares. What domination, what hitting. If the other teams weren't scared already, they're now surely trembling at the prospect of the Islamabad batting in the final. Karachi, however, are not eliminated. They'll face the winners of the first Eliminator between Quetta and Peshawar.

Mickey Arthur and Dean Jones shake hands. Jones is delighted at his boys: hugs Ronchi and Patel. It could've been a tricky target, but Islamabad broke no sweat to chase it down. Let's see what the captains and the Man of the Match have to say. We'll have the presentation in a few minutes.

Imtiaz: "Probably one of the best bowling line up of PSL being belted by Ronchi & co"

4
Usman Shinwari to Patel, FOUR runs

back of a length outside off, pokes at it and gets another thick outside edge. Flies past point, and that's the winning runs!

12.2
Usman Shinwari to Patel, no run

full and wide outside off, Patel tries to slap it towards point, but can't connect

12.1
4
Usman Shinwari to Patel, FOUR runs

good length on middle stump, tries to defend off the back foot but the ball takes a thick outside edge. Flies past the keeper's right for four more. Patel's not happy that it's gone for four

4
Amir to Ronchi, FOUR runs

moves on to 94! Back of a length outside off, but Ronchi's prepared for that pull. Stands tall and smacks this past midwicket. The man in the deep is just a spectator

11.5
1
Amir to Patel, 1 run

full on middle stump, goes across his body, and punched off the back foot to deep extra cover

11.4
1
Amir to Ronchi, 1 run

full on middle stump, driven straight past the non-striker to long off for a walking single

Shane : "Looking at some of Ronchi's previous innings, he doesn't look like the guy who's concerned with personal milestones but it would be great see him get a 100. Such a clean hitter of the ball."

11.3
1
Amir to Patel, 1 run

short on leg stump, not much bounce off the surface, and Patel drags his pull along the ground to fine leg

Islamabad need 15. Ronchi needs 11

11.2
4
Amir to Patel, FOUR runs

full on off stump. Tries to drive but takes the bat's toe end. It's racing away off the surface and third man's sliding effort in the deep can't stop it either

11.1
Amir to Patel, no run

good length on off stump, and angling across the batsman. Tries to lift this inside out over cover, but can't get bat to ball

Asad: "That's the end of Hales as far as this year PSL is concerned"

10.6
6
Usman Shinwari to Ronchi, SIX runs

bunted over long on! Full on middle and all Ronchi needs to do is meet the ball on the full. It's that full followthrough off the bat that generates the bat speed. Smacked over the bowler's head

10.5
Usman Shinwari to Ronchi, no run

good length on middle stump, but it's the cutter. Jags away from the surface after pitching and the batsman can't connect with his leg-side drag. Through to the keeper

Shaheer Imran: "Pakistan dropped Sachin 4 times in 2011 semi final and he scored 87. So this is not the most painful thing for Karachiites."

Uzair Abbas: "Other batsman should let Ronchi get his 100."

10.4
W
Usman Shinwari to Hales, OUT

finally, a catch taken! Short and wide outside off, but Hales pulls. Takes the top edge and goes almost for a six, but just short in the end. Mills slides across the ground on his knees to complete the catch

10.3
1
Usman Shinwari to Ronchi, 1 run

good length on middle stump, turned off his pads - using his wrists - to square leg. It was the change up from Usman this time, but Ronchi's seeing the ball like a watermelon

Ronchi needs 18 to become PSL's first foreigner to make 100. Islamabad, however, need only 26 more. Who'll get there first?

10.2
1
Usman Shinwari to Hales, 1 run

full on off stump, defended off the front foot to cover. Played into the gap, and they scamper across for the single

10.1
4
Usman Shinwari to Hales, FOUR runs

back of a length outside off, angling into Hales and the batsman pulls along the carpet this time! Even the otherwise-reliable Usman isn't being spared tonight. Deep midwicket's sliding effort ain't good enough

Afridi to Ronchi, FOUR runs

half tracker outside off, and that's way too easy for Luke Ronchi! Steps backward to use the full depth of the crease, and pulled to cow corner. That's the flattest pull shot I've ever seen. Falls just inside the boundary. Islamabad on 124 after 10 overs

9.5
1
Afridi to Hales, 1 run

good length on off stump once again, punched off the back foot to long on for a walking single. Afridi is struggling.

9.4
Afridi to Hales, no run

full on middle stump, drifts into his pads. Nudges it to midwicket off the back foot

9.3
1
Afridi to Ronchi, 1 run

good length on leg stump, turned off his pads to deep backward square

9.2
1
Afridi to Hales, 1 run

full outside off, down on one knee to try and sweep, but top edged past the keeper's right to third man. Chase for the infielder
