Tonight, it was another 180-plus chase, and Sohail Tanvir at No. 8 top-scored. But the margin of tonight's result is a lot bigger. And that is down to an utterly listless batting performance, a magical spell of legspin bowling from Shahid Afridi, and knocks of high quality from Joe Denly and Babar Azam. As a result of that all, Karachi jump to to second place, while Multan Sultans find themselves in a bit of a precarious position. They are on the same points as Karach - nine - but have played two matches extra and have just one match left to try and do something about their chances.

Runs on the board is important, and credit goes to Joe Denly and Babar Azam. Ingram just bats at No. 3 or 4, wherever we need him, because he's a very good hitter of spin. I believe the best batter has to face the most balls. This was his role today but we want to see him score big runs."
