2.4 to Q de Kock, very good catch by Hendricks! He had to move forward and then also dive well ahead of him from long-off to gobble that. Moeen shortened his length, while angling this into the left-hander. He pitched it around middle and leg, as de Kock made room and launched after coming out of his crease, only for him to mistime it. 15/1 | ||||||||||

3.5 to MP Breetzke, superb catch by Shepherd at midwicket! And that delight and celebration is typically West Indian! What an attempt there: he was placed a step or two in from the edge of the circle, and absolutely leapt as if on a ladder while also stretching his right hand across. The ball stuck, almost as if like a reward for that effort. It was bowled on a short of a length, with the ball shaping away towards off. Breetzke swiped at it seeing the length - it was a short-arm pull rather, which was timed well - but who knew that would be caught?. 21/2 | ||||||||||

4.6 to JT Smuts, Williams does a Vernon Philander, but the umpire does raise his finger! Smuts falls too, as DSG crumble in the powerplay. This kept a little low to be fair to Smuts, as he looked to clip this length ball pitching on middle. It was angled in, but just about straightened to hit Smuts low on his back leg. He walks back a frustrated man, as DSG slide. 27/3 16.2 to N Pooran, that's the end of Pooran for SA20 2023-24! Finishes the season with 15 in 15. Full ball outside off, from around the stumps. Pooran tries to muscle it through mid off but loses his shape. Edged to the keeper and Nelson strikes. 111/6 19.1 to D Pretorius, high up but doesn't have the distance. Lizaad starts the 20th with a full offcutter outside off stump. Pretorius holes out to long on as he toe-ends a slog. Easy one for Shepherd. 135/7 19.5 to H Klaasen, low full toss wide outside off. 6.1 to PWA Mulder, he strikes first ball, and ends near the long-off boundary! All his team-mates have to go all the way to greet Tahir there. Another one stays slightly low, as Tahir gets one to dip on a length on middle and off, with Mulder looking to push at it from deep in the crease, but getting beaten on the inside edge. Paul tries to repeat Klaasen's six by attempting to flick a shot over deep midwicket but a tag-team effort in the outfield completes a smart catch. du Plooy did most of the work by running around and getting both hands to the ball, and also ensured he popped the ball up in time. Williams attempts a cut but ends up chopping it right onto his stumps. 107/8 19.6 to D Wiese, third wicket in the over for Topley and Durban's Super Giants complete a bonus-point win! 12.1 to RR Hendricks, Gleeson returns and gets a wicket! Full ball on a fifth-stump line. Reeza tries to loft it over cover but he miscues the shot high up. Keemo Paul runs around and then forward to slide and take a tricky catch. Hendricks falls for 38 after a few overs of being at the non-striker's end for too long. 61/4 14.3 to R Shepherd, leg stump is gone! Length ball on middle and Shepherd tries to work it to fine leg from near his hips. But he misses, and the ball brushes past his thigh before clipping leg stump. 5.4 to F du Plessis, beautiful bowling! I have no idea why Maharaj is expressionless after this though. Maharaj repeats the ball which he bowled two deliveries back: he angles this in from around the wicket, lands it on a length on leg stump while getting to dip, and gets it to turn away to hit middle and off. Du Plessis looked to push forward after backing away, but was completely beaten by the turn, almost getting it squared up again. 33/1 7.4 to R Herrmann, bowled him! This one hits the leg stump off his bottom edge. And that bottom edge came about as he was looking to reverse sweep. Maharaj had actually bowled full and outside leg, as the ball was angled in. But Hermann had switched around early to try and reverse, only for the ball to tickle the bottom of the bat on to his leg stump. 41/2 | ||||||||||

8.6 to JL du Plooy, flung away to deep backward square leg! He started nervously, having survived an lbw call last over, but perishes looking to pick up pace. Du Plooy this time went for the hoick across the line at this length ball which was angling away to finish outside off.
