Rogers takes revenge on Warriors with twin centuries

The Victoria opener Chris Rogers recorded a satisfying double against his old state as he was responsible for securing a six-wicket win over Western Australia at the WACA. Rogers left the Warriors at the end of the last season and made sure the team did not forget him by scoring 115 in the first innings and 147 not out during the impressive chase of 318.

Victoria were set the target in 74 overs and reached it seven balls early thanks to Rogers, who struck 19 fours during his 232-ball stay. Hayden's form has been patchy since he returned from an Achilles injury while his partner Simon Katich has confirmed his spot with hundreds in the past two games.

Victoria's grip loosened slightly when they lost Hussey and Cameron White (0) in three deliveries from Brett Dorey, who took 3 for 75, but Rogers gained assistance from Andrew McDonald's 60 to make sure of the win.
