94.1 to DL Piedt, Piedt departs as well. At first, it looked like it came off the body but no. It was a short ball at the batter who hopped and the ball hit him straight on the glove and lobbed down the leg side. Blundell ran in and completed the catch with a dive. 1.1 to C Fortuin, Stunning catch at gully by Glenn Phillips! Fortuin commits to the drive first ball, reaches out and tries going through cover. It was flashy first up, Phillips leaps to the left and takes a one-hander mid-air. He leaps back and throws it up in the air before you knew what happened. Pace - 130ks. 12.2 to N Brand, Big lbw shout, good shout and it's given. It has been reviewed. Three-quarter length, angling in from a fourth-stump line at 140ks, decks back to breach the gap between Brand's bat and pad. It beat the inside edge and hit him on top of the back pad. Not much footwork from Brand, took a small stride and tried playing straight. Hawk-Eye shows it was hitting in line and would go on to clip the top of middle. Decision stands, Will O'Rourke has his maiden Test wicket on the stroke of drinks. Brand walks back disappointed, the skipper did the hard work but couldn't survive past the first hour. 40/2 91.4 to S von Berg, O'Rourke picks up his second. Von Berg was a bit tentative as he tried to defend a length ball - caught on the crease with little footwork. The ball came back in to take the inside edge and clatter into the off stump. It took New Zealand just 16 balls on the second opening to break the stubborn stand. 227/7 97.1 to R de Swardt, Chopped on! O'Rourke has his third. It was short of length around off. De Swardt looked to dab it down but ended up deflecting it onto his heels and the ball bounced back to tickle the stumps and dislodge the bail. 242/9 97.2 to D Paterson, O'Rourke has four on debut. He will be on a hat-trick when he bowls his first ball in the second innings. It was short of length and Paterson cleared his front leg for a big hoick, only to miscue it behind the stumps. 45.1 to Zubayr Hamza, Hamza has thrown it away. Ravindra tosses it up just outside off and Hamza goes for a wild slog sweep only to top-edge it towards backward point. Santner, the substitute, accepts a simple chance. 99/4 47.1 to KD Petersen, Ravindra has his second. South Africa five down. A length ball around off, and Petersen pushes at it with hard hands. Gets an outside edge and Southee moves to his right at slip to grab it. 101/5 61.6 to DG Bedingham, Loopy 91ks ball is almost a yorker, Bedingham was on the turn as he flicked the ball to short leg. He turned back and slid the bat in the crease as the fielder threw the ball to the keeper, who dislodged the bails. Think he was in but it's been sent upstairs. Well, well, slow-mo replay shows it's grazed off the top of the front shoe! Ultra-Edge being used too for confirmation, it's pretty clear that the ball didn't hit the ground. Out it is, caught! Angling in a touch from around the wicket, forcing Conway to play at it this time before moving away just enough to take the outside edge. A regulation catch for the keeper. 1/1 60.6 to TA Blundell, another played-on dismissal in the Test. Was a length ball around off. Blundell was looking to defend but then tried to withdraw his bat. Was too late. The ball hit the back of the bat and went on to disloge the bails. 157/5 66.4 to TG Southee, taken! Back of a length around off. Southee's eyes light up, and he tries to swat this over the leg side. But he ends up slicing the pull and the fielder at square leg runs back and keeps his eyes on the ball before stretching out and taking a difficult catch. That's Paterson's third. 170/8 | ||||||||||

Fullish ball turns in and the extra bounce forces the error from Williamson. He tries the flick, but ends up getting a touch onto his pads before the ball popped up. van Tonder with the rest. 86/3 61.5 to GD Phillips, an appeal for caught behind and given. Phillips isn't sure if he hit it. He discusses it with his partner and opts for a review. Was a full ball around off that spun back in. Phillip went for the drive, got an inside edge and Fortuin made no mistake. Suddenly, South Africa are on the top. 162/6 63.3 to WA Young, full ball outside off. Coms down the track and tries to hammer it over long on but he only ends up holing out to long on! Tries to take the aggressive route but his bat's face closed too much. That's Piedt's fourth!. 163/7 77.3 to N Wagner, five for for Piedt, and New Zealand are 211 all out! Slower through the air, flatter too. Full outside off and turning away with Wagner coming down the track. He misses, keeper whips the bails off and South Africa have a 31-run lead.. 211/10 | ||||||||||

He bangs in a short ball from around off stump, van Tonder tries to pull this away but gets a top edge and hits it straight to Wagner at fine leg. The bounce from the pitch is also helping New Zealand bowlers. SA two down inside 14 overs.. 28/2 17.5 to N Brand, what a jaffa, and it has gotten rid of the SA captain! Length in the channel and unlike the previous balls this over, this one decks back in. Brand plays the original line and is cut in half. The ball flies off the inside shoulder of the bat, and Blundell anticipates well to complete the catch high to his right. O'Rourke has two, and SA in a spot of bother now!. 39/3 65.3 to DG Bedingham, Gone! O'Rourke once again delivers the key wicket. Great bowling, great catch by Philips. A terrific and classy innings comes to an end from Bedingham. Short of a length ball outside off, comes to chest high as he goes back and looks to punch this on the back foot, only to find Philips at gully completing the catch. Extra bounce once again troubling SA. 219/7 69.1 to S von Berg, von Berg bites the dust! Banged in short outside off and this gets awfully big on von Berg. He tries to smite it away but he gets it all wrong. The ball clinks off the bottom part of the bat and lobs up towards Wagner at mid on, who takes the simplest of catches!. 234/9 69.5 to D Paterson, edged and gone! O'Rourke has a five-wicket haul on Test debut, and he has nine in the game! Back of a length just outside off. Paterson backs away and has a huge swish at it. All he manages is a feather that Blundell gobbles up with ease. O'Rourke is mobbed by his teammates, and he breaks into a smile, at last. 267 is what NZ need in the fourth innings!. 235/10 | ||||||||||

Tossed up on the stumps, de Swardt moves across bit to play a sweep, ends up missing it and exposing the middle and off stumps. It went straighter to disturb the stumps. Too much of a risk shot. 213/6 68.1 to DL Piedt, In the air, taken! Southee does the job. Straightens off the surface and Conway, playing for the one that comes in with the angle, plays down the wrong line. Gets beaten on the outside and the ball pins him on the back leg. Looks straight enough but the question is whether this was going over the stumps. Ball Tracking comes up and it is three reds. Conway has to go, and SA are over the moon! Tossed up delivery outside off, pace off, Latham spoons it straight to short cover. It comes from the outside of his bat. Soft dismissal!
