Full commentary

Mashrafe collects the trophy and hands it over to Soumya. Chittagong raises itself to a massive roar. Do come back for the Test series. Until then, this is Deivarayan Muthu, saying ta ta.

Mashrafe Mortaza: After losing the first match, it was difficult to come back in the second. The boys played brilliantly in the third match. The way Soumya was batting was nice to see. Mustafiz has become a very good fast bowler. Tamim showed his character as well. It was brilliant. The boys have got some confidence and also I would thank South Africa. Thanks to the crowd, keep supporting us.

Hashim Amla: Very disappointing, indeed. We misjudged the conditions but credit to Bangladesh. We were rusty and we haven't played good cricket. We have got a good idea of what the wickets would be. Test cricket is a different ball game. We will regroup and come back in the Tests. The Test guys have flown in.

Soumya Sarkar is the Man of the Match and the Man of the Series.

Presentation:

10:57pm Litton plucks out a stump as a souvenir. Chandika Hathurusingha hugs Tamim Iqbal. Another big series win for the hosts - their first bilateral series win over South Africa. Mashrafe jumps onto Heath Streak.

After the bowlers stifled South Africa with a combination of seam and spin, Tamim and Soumya shaved 104 runs off the target in 16 overs. Soumya propelled the chase with 90 off 75 balls, unfurling a panoply of strokes, including a ramp right over the keeper's head. Imran Tahir had some crumbs of comfort with the wicket of Soumya but Litton finished the chase with a pulled four with 83 balls to spare.

Tamim: Beating South Africa is a huge moment for Bangladesh. Soumya batted beautifully. Beating South Africa is not an easy task. Winning is a habit and we have trust that we can beat any team.

Abu Obaida Imon: "5-0 against ZIM, 3-0 against PAK, 2-1 against IND & 2-1 against SA. 4 consecutive series win ."

Srinivasan: "You said 4th straight series win. What was the first team..?" -- Zimbabwe
