Full commentary

Ireland have been dismissed for 131 which means South Africa win this game by 42 runs. Vernon Philander was the pick of the bowlers with 4 for 12 on debut. Those figures are the second best by a South African bowler on debut and seventh best of all time.

Another debutant who had an impressive debut was Alex Cusack. He had just one List A match under his belt before this game and he emerged with figures of 3 for 15 and 36 not out. That effort has won him the Man-of-the-Match award. Not a bad debut at all.

That's it from us at Cricinfo today. Thank you for waiting with us through the rain. Do join us for the first day of the Sri Lanka-Bangladesh Test that begins tomorrow in Colombo and for the first ODI between India and South Africa on Tuesday. This is George Binoy signing off. Good night all.
