1b to TT Beaumont, and Kapp strikes first ball! Beaumont steps down and looks to drive expansively, but steers a thick edge to slip! The Fire skipper throws her head back as van Niekerk clings on to the chance. Big outswinger from Kapp and Beaumont nicks it. Perfect start from Invincibles. 0/1 7b to HK Matthews, full and slashed into the covers! Both openers gone for ducks, Kapp knocks off another. Matthews was looking to step down and drive, hit the ball in the air and it was snaffled going to her right by Capsey. Not a bad connection but too close to the fielder. Invincibles scrapping hard from the outset. 5/2 63b to GA Elwiss, length and nibbling back in, hit on the pads... Middlebrook shakes his head but van Niekerk reviews. She was quite a long way down, though hit on the back leg. And Hawk-Eye has it smashing into leg stump! Fired full and straight, Windsor moved outside leg to hit straight but ended up deflecting the ball into the poles off her pads! Golden duck for Harris and Invincibles have gone bang-bang at a crucial juncture. Harris is a big-hitter, so that is a blow for Fire. Carved uppishly and van Niekerk holds it going to her right.
