2.55pm And that will be it from us here at ESPNcricinfo from this first Test. We will be back, come December 26, to take you through the next game. Until then, take care.

2.40pm Utterly dominant display by Australia, a huge win for them and they take a 1-0 series lead. Two and a half days is all it took for Australia to rack up a massive score and then get 20 WI wickets. They enforced the follow-on this morning after cleaning up the last three wickets to fall in quick time. And Pattinson set fire to WI's top order. Thereafter, an uphill task became implausible. WI, on the other hand, were not very good. They did have a few bright sparks and plenty of positives but that is all they will take away. Darren Bravo and Kraigg Brathwaite played exceptionally well for their scores but it was nowhere near enough. Plenty of time before the Boxing Day Test at MCG, and they will have to pick themselves up. Can they? Will they? Australia are left with good selection dilemmas, Usman Khawaja is expected to fit right back at No 3, but who will they drop.

Adam Voges is the Man of the Match: Fantastic to be part of another Test match win, quite fitting that they (Ponsford and Bradman) still hold the record. I'm enjoying every minute of it, I probably wear my cap around the house a bit too. It has been a bit of a transition, great to see Pattinson back in the side. We are gelling nicely as a unit, we are feeling part of the Test match unit.

Jason Holder: Tough three days for us, indisciplined on the first session and continued throughout the day. We have to be patient when we bowl. Spend some time in the middle when we bat, credit to Bravo and Brathwaite, unfortunately most of the batsmen didn't get in, and those who did, did not carry on. We have a practice game, hopefully we can make use of it. A lot of soul-searching to be done. Definitely believe in my team, have to stay together as a team.

Steven Smith: Was a good win, we fought back after being 3 for 120, the stand set us up. Voges has looked good every match he has played. He understands the game really well and it is nice to bounce a few ideas off him. Nice to have some stocks there, Hazlewood has stepped up and led the attack beautifully. Outstanding effort from Pattinson. Lyon bowled beautifully, not much assistance for him. Always great to play the Boxing Day test, always a pleasure. Hopefully we can keep it up.

Bollo: "Brathwaite (63.51% of team total) is the 4th highest of an any individual test innings. Such a pity he couldn`t score 6 more."

Hazlewood to Brathwaite, OUT

what a shame! An exceptional innings ends, Hazlewood gets through the defense of Brathwaite. May have been a slower ball or one that just shaped back in, Brathwaite is beaten with the swing and the stumps are rattled. The players shake hands and the Test is done, Australia complete a massive win, an innings and 212 runs

improvisation, wonderful batting. Brathwaite moves to 94. Gets under a short ball outside off and ramps it over gully for four. Terrific batting. Another safe shot

four in four! Wow. Brathwaite on 85. Short and wide, Brathwaite flays a cut through gully and backward point for four more.

too full now and clipped to the square leg boundary, Brathwaite braces to 81. All timing, just good cricketing shots these. Plays it as late as possible

Hazlewood to Taylor, OUT

he is gone this time! Tries a similar shot but can only spoon it to mid-off. Dragged back a touch and the shot is a lot harder to play, he goes through with it anyway and can only lob it up to Pattinson who takes an overhead catch.
