Sri Lanka seamer Nuwan Kulasekara has been ruled out of the rest of the Bangladesh tour and the Asia Cup with a groin injury. He will be replaced by another seamer, Dhammika Prasad, who is expected to join the squad on Wednesday.
Kulasekara sustained the injury during the first ODI on Monday in Mirpur. He had bowled six overs for 38 runs in the match that Sri Lanka won by 13 runs. He is also in the World T20 squad, which will also be played in Bangladesh.
Thirty-year-old Prasad has played 12 ODIs and taken 18 wickets. He last played an ODI nearly two years ago, in March 2012, during the tri-series in Australia which also involved India. He has been among the wickets off late in first-class matches and picked up six wickets against England Lions in Pallekele.
