ZIMBABWE v PAKISTAN 1994-95

At Harare, February 26

15-Apr-1996
At Harare, February 26. Zimbabwe won by 74 runs. Toss: Pakistan.
Pakistan's controversial tour ended in their first one-day defeat by Zimbabwe in nine meetings, when they were bowled out with 39 balls to spare. Chasing 223, they were flustered by Malcolm Jarvis, the 39-year-old medium-pacer, who dismissed both openers. Again, Inzamam-ul-Haq repaired the damage, scoring 45 in 54 balls. But the last six wickets fell for 42, with Aamir Sohail unable to bat because of a back injury. As Zimbabwe celebrated levelling the series, Jarvis announced his retirement. Andy Flower was the pick of the home batsmen, with 73; wicket-keeper Moin Khan, included after what turned out to be the temporary retirement of Rashid Latif and Basit Ali, took five catches in Zimbabwe's innings, equalling the limited-overs record.
Man of the Match: A. Flower.
