United England Eleven Cricket Teams

The United England XI, also known as the United All-England XI, was a breakaway side consisting of players who felt, with some justification, that they were getting a raw deal from William Clarke who ran the All England XI. In 1852 they formed their own XI, but such was the depth of talent in the country that the two co-existed for more than two decades.
